NEWFEST VIRTUAL ALL-ACCESS STREAMING PASSES & TICKETS

What programs are available to watch on NEWFEST VIRTUAL?
The Festival will feature 120+ intersectional, local and international films; virtual social events; topical panels and conversations; and more! All virtual films will be available to watch throughout the United States. There will also be three drive-in screenings that take place in Queens and Brooklyn.

The majority of our program will be available starting Oct 16 at 10am EST through Oct 27 at 11:59pm EST. If you have purchased a Virtual All-Access Streaming Pass, just like on Netflix you will be able to watch films on your own schedule during those 11 days. If you buy an Individual ticket to a film, you will have 48 hours from the time you press ‘Play’ to watch your chosen film during those 11 days.

The exception to this are our Spotlight films, which will be released throughout the 11 days at 8pm EST on each of their scheduled day. Once they are released, the same rules around viewing the film apply.

The NewFest Virtual Festival platform uses DRM technology to prevent downloading as a security measure. All programs may only be watched while streaming. It is not possible to download a program.

I am receiving an error message about my IP address – what does it mean?
For security reasons, you must view your program on the same Wi-Fi network or Internet connection. Once you start your stream in one location, you cannot continue viewing it in another location or on a different network. For example, if you start watching at home and try to restart at a friend’s house, you will receive this error message. Alternately, you can only use different devices in one location if they are using the same network. For example, if you start watching on a TV and switch to a tablet or laptop, they both need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

If you believe you’re receiving the message in error, please contact boxoffice@newfest.org.
