These days we could all use a happy ending – or at least some love and laughs! Queer romance is in the air with this retrospective series featuring celebrated crowd-pleasers and rare gems.
With several starry big-budget LGBTQ+ rom-coms set for release this year, now is the perfect time to look back and honor films that take a subversively queer approach to the rom-com genre, while adding depth and textures to its cozy conventions. Prepare your popcorn or pint of ice cream and relive love triangles, hometown reunions, and last-chance jets to the airport with movies that guarantee satisfying romantic resolutions, sealed with a kiss.
