How does an artist keep creating when losing their sight? Filmmaker Arnaud Alain follows Dimitri, a passionate photographer who is going blind. From Paris to New York, Alain charts Dimitri’s travels and emotional journey as the images around him slip away.
Together they wander the streets with their cameras, encountering friends and strangers along their path and revealing unseen beauty and connections in the world. As Dimitri’s vision fades, he invites Alain along to see a new perspective and shift his gaze toward the hidden face of the Earth.
This intimate documentary brings Dimitri’s innermost feelings to the surface in an affecting portrait of an artist in transit, in his work and every sense of his life.
