An NYC friend group reunites to throw an “eviction funeral” for Genevieve. As the night progresses and a heatwave traps them together, their long-ignored problems boil over.

Nora is late. Alice unceremoniously brought her partner, whose name no one can remember. Jayae doesn’t want to be around these people but came anyway. And Genevieve, the host who has been priced out of New York City, is putting an unhealthy amount of pressure on this “eviction funeral” to solve all of their problems.
As they barrel through the evening, delirious from the heat and lack of food, this disintegrating friend group desperately throws a couple of Hail Mary’s and caution to the wind as they try to harness some semblance of what they used to have.
And then their dead friend shows up.
