GOSSAMER FOLDS
A heartwarming tale of overcoming prejudice and fostering unexpected connections in the 1980's Midwest
Description
Alexandra Grey (EMPIRE) turns in a star-making performance as the lead in this heartwarming tale of overcoming prejudice and fostering unexpected connections. When 10-year-old Tate (Jackson Robert Scott) is relocated with his harried mother (Sprague Grayden) and adulterous father (Shane West) to the suburbs of 1980s Kansas City, the lonely boy finds himself drawn to his next-door neighbor, the confident, big-dreaming Gossamer (Grey). Grey's depth and undeniable charisma, Lisa Donato's sensitive direction, and a strong supporting cast, including NewFest alum Jen Richards as Gossamer's best friend, elevate GOSSAMER FOLDS into a lovely reminder that if we open our minds and hearts, anything is possible.
