Alok Vaid-Menon is an internationally acclaimed nonbinary author, poet, comedian and public speaker. This thought-provoking short documentary from director Alex Hedison explores the way Alok personifies limitless expression of self, following them as they challenge societal norms and inspire viewers to embrace personal freedom beyond the binaries that divide us. Featuring Dylan Mulvaney, Chani Nicholas and other cultural change makers, produced by Natalie Shirinian, Elizabeth Baudouin and Meggan Lennon, and Executive Produced by Jodie Foster, this is a compelling portrait of a very modern icon.

There will be an extended conversation following the in-person screening with Alok Vaid-Menon, director Alex Hedison and producers Elizabeth Baudouin, Natalie Shirinian and Meggan Lennon.
