Description
Viv, a Chinese artist wannabe, gets stuck in Berlin after the pandemic and accidentally ventures into the alternative culture scene. To someone who was raised to follow “the standard,” everything seems so exciting. But to Viv’s family back home, it raises an uncomfortable question: Why is she such an oddball? Caught between new environments and traditional expectations, Viv adapts to shifting opinions about herself, the world, and China, only to feel more lost than ever.
TWO MOUNTAINS WEIGHING DOWN MY CHEST follows Viv’s eclectic encounters and the clashes that shape them in a spiraling story about the search for identity and acceptance.
