In Season 2, intrepid journalist Valeria (Lola Rodriguez) is struggling to follow up on her life-changing investigation into the life of Cristina “La Veneno” Ortiz Rodrigo. When she discovers that the history behind the trailblazing 1983 Spanish trans documentary DRESSED IN BLUE has been lost to time, she decides to track down that film’s subjects in order to learn their stories and carry on their legacy.
Featuring an exhilarating ensemble made up of newcomers and returning favorites, and executive produced by the Javis, VENENO Season 2: DRESSED IN BLUE is an empathetic and life-affirming love letter to oft-forgotten queer histories.
