TWILIGHT’S KISS
A tender and heartbreaking portrait of two older, closeted Hong Kong men falling in love
Description
Lovingly demonstrating that sexual discovery has no expiration date, and frankly exploring a variety of very real issues older gay men face, TWILIGHT’S KISS is a tender and heartbreaking reminder that we only have one life, so we might as well experience it as fully and authentically as we can. The paths of Pak, an unhappily married cabdriver, and Hoi, who resides with his religious son and covertly attends support group meetings for elderly gay men, are forever changed after subtly cruising each other in a Hong Kong park. As the two men navigate an increasingly intimate relationship, they begin to wonder whether they’ve aged out of the possibility of happily-ever-after. Can you still have true love if the home you’ve made for yourself and the society you live in make it impossible?
