CHUCK CHUCK BABY
Two working-class women reunite in industrial north Wales in a delightful (and musical!) harmonious story of star-crossed romance
Description
Living a mundane life in industrial North Wales, the shy and submissive Helen (Louise Brealey, SHERLOCK) spends most of her days toiling away at a chicken factory. She is a container of emotions that is about to explode, and she may very well do just that when Joanne (Annabel Scholey, BEING HUMAN) returns from the past to ignite a star-crossed romance.
This reunion between the two working class women unfolds into a harmonious story of love and friendship — complete with thrilling musical interludes — in director Janis Pugh’s CHUCK CHUCK BABY, a crowd-pleaser that will motivate audiences to live every second to the fullest.
