Free Ticketing ProgramProviding access for LGBTQ audiences across New York City
Providing free access to LGBTQ film for all
NewFest provides free tickets year-round to seniors, youth, and other low-income individuals through our community partners who serve them.
It’s so important for everyone in our community to see themselves represented on screen, and to feel like they’re not alone. NewFest creates safe spaces for the LGBTQ community to come together, and our Free Ticketing Campaign allows those who cannot afford tickets, or might otherwise feel disengaged, to be an active part of screenings and conversations.
From LGBTQ youth and seniors to low-income individuals, NewFest offers free tickets to every screening program through 50+ community organization partners, including: SAGE (Services and Advocacy for GLBT Elders), Ali Forney Center for Homeless Youth, Global Action Project, The Trevor Project, and Callen-Lorde.
To provide access for seniors, youth, and other low-income individuals and ensure this program remains active, we invite you to make a gift to support this important program.
