Trans Tales

At a time when trans rights are under attack but their representations have never been more mainstream, it’s critical trans people tell their own stories. From Chicago-set drama to documentaries about artists and activists, these indie TV series show trans people growing, struggling, and thriving in contemporary America. They explore sexuality, race, citizenship, history, policy, and romance, inviting us to see the diversity and power of humanity across the gender binary.
